As the first quarter of our school year ends, I am reminded of how very quickly each school year passes. This year, like every school year, offers so many rich opportunities for learning, for growing, for serving, and for supporting our children in the process of becoming who they will ultimately be as adults. Thank you for reading with your children and for supporting them in their learning. Thank you for serving as volunteers to help teachers. Thank you for selling coupon books and cookie dough, and for serving as room parents. Thank you for modeling for your children how to work collaboratively, how to solve problems creatively, and how to build positive relationships.
Please continue to take advantage of the opportunities at McConnell. We are excited to have a parent volunteer work room where parents can comfortably work on materials to support teaching and learning. Please consider coming in and volunteering. Our Parent Volunteer Coordinator will be happy to assist you in getting started. Your support of teaching and learning at McConnell is truly appreciated and DOES make a difference.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Norma Faerber, Principal
